Zoe is one of MEarth’s newest educators, bringing her passion for marine science to our amazing team! Zoe focuses on inspiring young minds to see the beauty of the natural world and allowing that to inspire their stewardship of the environment. 

Throughout her career, Zoe has participated in various marine-focused research projects, exploring topics from seastar behavior to eelgrass genetics. Her involvement in fellowships for STEM educators has further enhanced her pedagogical skills, enabling her to effectively engage and inspire her students. Zoe believes that education is a powerful tool for change, and is committed to instilling values of sustainability and stewardship to those that cross her path. 

Outside of the habitat, you can find Zoe near any body of water – whether scuba diving, swimming, or relaxing with a good book on the beach.
