Glass Pumpkin Patch of Carmel
Celebrating 12 Years of Community Connection
Now in its 12th year, the Glass Pumpkin Patch of Carmel has become a time-honored community event. Held annually on the second weekend of September, the Glass Pumpkin Patch is MEarth's largest fundraising initiative, and we are immensely grateful to the talented artists who recently helped us welcome over 2,000 guests to the Habitat.
Each year, this enchanting event showcases thousands of stunning, hand-blown glass pumpkins crafted by award-winning glass artists Nick Leonoff, with Nancy Francioli and Kevin Chong. We were also thrilled to feature acclaimed chefs David Baron, Joshua Kinzer, Yulanda Santos, Pamela Burns, Mario Luevano, and Tim Wood, who prepared exquisite earth-to-table tastings for our guests.
New this year, the MEarth Donation Farm Stand was overflowing with our own organic produce, beautifully decorated Cinderella pumpkins, plant starts, and fresh herbs, adding a delightful touch to the festivities.
Shout Out to Our Community Partners
The Pumpkin Patch Kid Zone buzzed with excitement this year, thanks to our amazing partners: Elkhorn Slough, Save the Whales, Ventana Wildlife Society, and the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to the talented vocalists Pete Sibley and Moshe Vilozny, whose musical contributions made the weekend truly unforgettable.
Thank you to Our 2024 Sponsors!
We are so happy to have outstanding community members like you involved in supporting our mission and work. Last year we were delighted to bring in over 1,500 people from near and far to enjoy the beautiful art and delicious food while raising funds to support our work with youth in Monterey County!
Your contribution helps support MEarth’s hands-on environmental education programs, reaching over 2,500 youth across Monterey County every year. Thank you for your generosity and support in helping us grow the next generation of environmental stewards.
We are deeply grateful to Spoke Consulting, Blink Optometry, Carmel Valley Manor, and the Fair Education Foundation as well as Rental Depot, The Treadmill, M Ventures Consulting, Paul Gamble and our media sponsor KRML Radio.
Thanks also to our in-kind partners who have generously donated their time, resources, and expertise. Special thanks to Carmel Berry, Faby’s Creation, Julia’s Vegetarian Restaurant, and the American Culinary Federation for their significant contributions.
