Andrea Lewis brings her interest and experience in environmental education, sustainability, and protection of the environment to the MEarth Board of Directors. Prior to joining the Board, Andrea was the former Executive Director of MEarth for almost three years. Additionally, she has worked for the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) as Assistant Secretary for Education and Quality Programs. Andrea is a formally trained facilitator and classroom trainer and holds a B.A. in Government-Journalism from CSU-Sacramento and a Total Quality Management Certificate from the Los Rios Community College District. She worked for the State of California since 1973 and, prior to joining Cal/EPA in 1994, worked for the Attorney General’s Office and California State Teachers’ Retirement System.
