Sophie is a Pacific Grove local who grew up hiking and playing outdoors, leading to an appreciation for natural beauty and wildlife. She attended UC Santa Cruz where she studied Sociology and Legal Studies, learned the importance of community-building, and saw the positive impact that outdoor spaces play in social well-being. With a foundation in business development and non-profit work, Sophie hopes to further promote appreciation for and access to the natural world. In her free time, she enjoys seeing her friends and family, working on art projects, and horseback riding.
