Learning Through Nature Workshop
Join MEarth for a professional development series intended for Monterey County Elementary School Teachers. The series will focus on using Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)-aligned learning activities to engage elementary students in virtual, indoor, and outdoor settings. Participating educators will experience NGSS-aligned hands-on activities from the student perspective and will be prompted to consider cross-curricular integration opportunities collaboratively with their fellow participants. In this program, we will explore meaningful and engaging nature-focused learning experiences for elementary students in diverse learning environments.
