Laura Michel is a southern California native. Outside of SoCal, she has lived in San Francisco, where she received her BA from San Francisco State University.  A few years later, receiving her MA from Cal State Fullerton, both degrees in Communication Studies. Laura continues to teach Communication Studies college courses when possible. For over ten years, Laura has dedicated her career to giving back to the community, whether in the nonprofit or education sectors. As a child, Laura loved to be outside, building bug hotels and making observations of the natural world around her. She is thrilled to come full circle. In her free time, Laura enjoys yoga and hiking throughout the beautiful central coast.
