MEarth is, again, thrilled to be a participant in Monterey County Gives, a community-driven, year-end fundraising campaign supporting local non profits, made possible by the Monterey County Weekly, The Community Foundation of Monterey County, and other partners.

All donations made from Nov 7 – Dec 31 will receive a percentage match, boosting the donation power of the community’s support!

MEarth’s vision is to make our community programs accessible to ALL Monterey County residents by growing more free and donation-based CommunityConnect programs in 2020. With your support, we’ll be able to offer monthly, donation-based, Do It Yourself (“DIY”) Workshops, lead admission-free Seasonal Public Tours of the ten acre, award-winning Hilton Bialek Habitat, offer a donation-based Harvest-to-Home “U-Pick” Community Harvest Market, and formalize our MEarth Seed Bank, to preserve the genetic diversity of foods that can be grown in our region, and the cultural diversity these seeds represent, for future generations. While MEarth has offered CommunityConnect programs for several years, this year the focus is on making our community programs accessible to many more people by making them free and donation-based.

Each donation made now until Dec 31, 2019 through Monterey County Gives will be matched.
