MEarth is partnered with Carmel Valley-raised, now New York City-based glass artist, Nick Leonoff, to produce an all-new signature fall fundraising event that will showcase art inspired by the beauty of the natural world for collectors and community members alike:
Glass Pumpkin Patch of Carmel
Leonoff, along with a curated group of local artists, displayed and sold a “bumper crop” of over 1,500 hand-blown glass pumpkins, each a unique treasure of its own. Other featured artists included: Kevin Chong, Alan Masaoka, Todd Moore and Mark Stephenson.
Attendees also enjoyed live jazz music and pumpkin-infused “small bites” from local culinary geniuses, amidst MEarth’s late-summer gardens. Participating restaurants included:
FREE admission with suggested donation for food. A percentage of all pumpkin sales and 100% of food donations will go directly towards supporting MEarth’s mission of educating + inspiring the next generation of environmental leaders in Monterey County.
A special ‘Meet the Artists’ Reception at Mundaka on Friday, September 20th between 6-8pm preceded the event.
